Try wines from the rarely talked about wine-making regions of Bolivia in Tarija and the Cinti Valley. Tarija, in southern Bolivia, is home to some remarkable Tannats and Malbecs, and the Cinti Valley is in the Andes, with varietals that go back centuries, all grown at 2500-3000 meters (8,000 to 10,000 ft.).
