The Bakery Bar is at the heart of the Mac Market community space. Reliably open from morning to night, people come through to grab-n-go, bump into friends, have a meeting, or chat with their favorite Barista/Bartender.

We offer locally roasted/produced coffees and teas, and use only housemade syrups and chocolates in order to let the ingredients shine. As the day rolls on, our well-curated selection of local beer, worldly wine, and splendid cocktails/mocktails serves those looking for something to wash pizza down, relax with a post-work drink, or pair with an amazing dinner in Hayward.

The food program offers sweet and savory pastries, snackable desserts and a selection of sourdough breads that deliver familiar yet interesting flavors like sticky buns with coffee miso glaze or brioche with harissa cream cheese and spinach. After 2pm, unsold breads and cookies go over to Wellspent Market for sale and any pastries are wrapped and sold at a “day-of” 20% discount.
